The 126th Baden Powell Guild was formed in 2021 in part to fill a need for managing shared equipment used by Burnaby Scouts and Guides, after the unfortunate fire of the Burnaby Carriage House January 12, 2018.
A lot of equipment was lost in the fire. One of the more sought after items early January is snowshoes and fortunately many were out on loan at the time. The metal frames of marquis tents used for larger winter events also survived. The vinyl roofs and walls have been replaced. See Quartermaster Stores for a listing of available items.
